Someone asked when practices and games will be. Practices are one day a week and depends on which team a player is on. Games are one day a week (with an occasional exception). You can take a look at last season’s schedules. This season should be similar.

The schedule for this season has not been created yet – that will come later. However, most leagues will probably play a game in December and some may not begin until January.

Hopefully practices will begin by late November. Be patient, a coach will be calling you soon after the drafts.

All coaches for all Girls and Boys teams are requested to attend the meeting on Monday at 7:00 at the PG gym. Please bring the registration forms and list of players on each of your teams.

The league is open for Boys and Girls ages 6 through High School who live in the Southeast Guilford High School district and/or are members of one of the sponsoring churches or organizations.

If you haven’t been out to Southeast High School yet this week you have missed some entertaining games. Only a few days left in the 2012 season. Which teams will be crowned Tournament Champions? Come out and see some of the action.

Mites and Senior Boys have their semifinals tonight and Pee Wee and Junior Boys have semis on Friday.

All of the Finals are scheduled for Saturday.

Come out and support your church or organization or your favorite players!

Saturday is the start of the 2012 Tournament.

We will begin with the first round games for the Pee Wee Boys and the Mites on Saturday. The remaining schedule will be finalized this weekend.
Plan for Senior Boys starting on Monday night, Junior Boys starting on Tuesday night, and the Junior and Senior Girls will have first round games on Wednesday night.

All games are scheduled for the new gym at the Southeast Guilford High School.

Below is the schedule for the first round games of the Mites and Pee Wee Boys on Saturday. Look back later this weekend for more updates.

On Saturday we have a full slate of games beginning at 10:00 am. First up are the Junior Girls followed by, Pee Wee Boys, Senior Girls, and Mites. Get there early to get a good seat.

A couple of reminders.
1) No Food, Drinks (including water bottles), or Smoking is allowed in the PG Gym. There is a water fountain with some nice cold water if you get thirsty. Trust me, I had some last night. We encourage all players to drink some between quarters and before/after their games.

2) Remember to keep Uniforms uniform. Socks need to be either black or white and not one of each. T-shirts are not allowed under the boys jerseys, and those designer compression arm sleeves are not allowed.
